resa.nu sets no cookies of its own and uses no ad tracking. This page describes what happens when you visit the site.
When you visit resa.nu
Our server receives your IP address and technical details about your browser in order to show the page. This information is only used to deliver the page and to fix problems.
Maps and images
The map on each destination is drawn with map data from OpenFreeMap, which is based on OpenStreetMap, and some images are loaded from Unsplash. They receive your IP address when the content loads but set no cookies. Other images are served from our own server.
The Stay22 accommodation map
The map of places to stay only loads when you click the button. It then comes from Stay22, which may set cookies and collect information about your browser to show prices and so that we earn a commission if you book. If you don't click, Stay22 isn't contacted at all.
Links to GetYourGuide
Links to GetYourGuide include our partner code, and we earn a commission if you book after clicking. Nothing is sent to GetYourGuide until you click a link. After that, GetYourGuide's privacy policy, available on their website, applies.
Exchange rates and search
Exchange rates are fetched by our server, not by your browser. Searches run on our server, and the search term is counted anonymously in the visitor statistics (see Statistics). If you wish for a destination we don't have yet, we only save the search term and the time, not who you are.
Statistics
We use Umami for visitor statistics. Umami sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It counts page views, where visitors come from, country, device and a few events, such as searches and clicks on booking links. Search terms are stored without any link to you. The data is only used as anonymous statistics, and if your browser sends Do Not Track you aren't counted at all.
Who is responsible?
resa.nu is run by CodifyIT AB (Swedish company reg. no. 559478-4539), which is the data controller for the processing on the site. Contact us if you have questions or want to exercise your rights under the GDPR, for example to find out what data we hold about you or to have it deleted. You can also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
